The rain in June
Brought a monsoon
That threatened a loon.
So to protect the loon
They made a sand dune,
But it was for nought against the great Neptune.
So they tied the loon
To a large balloon
Like a real-life Drifloon
Or a thing from a toon.
In the great typhoon
The loon, with a croon,
Was blown aloft while eating a macaroon.
Burning bright as sunset
Brilliant red, orange, and gold
Flick flickering sight
Illuminating the night
Taming freight
Source of life giving light
Flickering fight
Against the winds might
Providing warmth and comfort
Warding off the beast blight
Then with the howling wind
It’s out like a ghost in the night
The rain in June
Brought a monsoon
That threatened a loon.
So to protect the loon
They made a sand dune,
But it was for nought against the great Neptune.
So they tied the loon
To a large balloon
Like a real-life Drifloon
Or a thing from a toon.
